Gann Square of Nine calculator
Welcome to Gann Levels by Hamid Tondkaran. This free educational Square of Nine calculator
projects resistance and support from a pivot price at 90°, 120°, 180°, 240°, and 360°, and can
optionally project dates from the square root of price. Pair it with Time–Price tools to square
a swing range or a single anchor price into calendar or trading-day dates.
How Square of Nine levels are calculated
A common educational form is level = (√price ± ring × degrees/180)². Adding to the square root
projects resistance above the pivot; subtracting projects support below. One full cycle (360°)
advances the root by 2; a half cycle (180°) advances it by 1.
Worked example (pivot 100)
From price 100 at 360°, resistance levels are about 144, 196, 256… and support about 64, 36….
At 180°, resistance starts near 121, 144, 169…. Enable JavaScript to run the interactive
calculator with the same math.
Square of Nine Price Levels
Enter a pivot price to project Gann Square of Nine resistance and support levels. Choose your
distances and how many rings to project. Treat levels as planning references — not automatic
buy or sell signals.
Time to Price Range
Square the range: project Gann-style dates from a swing high and low using calendar or trading
days. Mark those windows for possible turns, breakouts, or exhaustion — not guaranteed
reversals.
Time to Anchor Price
Square the price: project dates from a single anchor price the same way. Useful when one level
matters more than a full swing.
